Women are multi-tasked, no question about it, and
men are "one sloat-toasters" (I like that word).

How is your day/evening so far?

Mine's pretty good, if a bit quiet. That's a good thing. The kids are at a friend's house.

What are you up to?

I just picked up my child, plus friend from summer camp.
They learn how to surf, and now they're hungry for
Spaghetti......

Don't you wish to have a cook?

Don't I ever. I'm lucky that hubby likes to sometimes and loves to bbq.

Wouldn't a maid be great too?

1-Fantasise about an automata maid. One that doesn't bring a pile of personal problems which the real ones do.

2-Cleaning is very personal.I have often been glad to have done the cleaning myself.

You sound like my mother, who will never have anyone
else clean, as she's convinced, no one does it better.
I don't care, as long as I don't have to do it.

Automata maid? Stepford wife like?

To answer your question, Jane... yes, I do clean.
I'm a stay at home / work at home mom - kind of goes with the territory right now. We have a fledging business and I can't afford one just yet.

I wouldn't pass up a 'Roomba', though. Ever heard of 'em?

devriesj, I am wearing different hats, besides working,
so I need one.

It's a little automatic vacuum. It looks like a little disc-like 'ufo'. You charge 'em up & they clean for about 1 1/2 hrs. It would be really handy around here with 2 kids and a dog!

Wouldn't that be great? How about a self-cleaning house?!
