there are some residues left on veggies. Most of them can be solubilized by using a detergent. Detergents are good emulsifying agents ofr organic residues and salts.
We often soak our farm bought veggies in a mild detergent solution and then rinse rinse rinse.
Grapes and oranges are some of the worst, not so much because of pesticides only but wild yeasts and bacteria. (we use lemon zest as much as the insides of th fruits)
