devouring books about Geronimo and Crazy Horse at the local library. "

They were two book or just one? The book -- Geronimo, and the book - Crazy Horse? Or just the book -"Geronimo and Crazy Horse"?

It could be any number of books. Geronimo and Crazy Horse were both Native American chiefs. The person was reading "many" books about those two people.

Thx, Adrian.

I've just checked out Geronimo (Apache leader who resisted the U.S. government policy to consolidate his people on reservations by leading a series of raids against Mexican and American settlements in the Southwest (1876-1886)). Just don't know Crazy Horse is a book or a man.

He was Lakota.

Link to brief history.

Crazy Horse led the Lakota and Cheyenne against Custer at Little Bighorn. Very famous battle that one.
