Since most of my ancestors are Irish, I pronounce it ok to be self deprecating in gentle humor. If you're looking to start a row, I ain't biting.

You're American, you're not Irish. It's not self deprecating, it's insulting. The Irish people don't talk anything like that. It's as accurate as Dick Van Dyke's cockney accent.

You're right about one thing though, the ignore function. I'm just disappointed in myself for letting you fool me for so long.

Izzy has a habit of attacking Americans of Irish descent. I advise letting his nastiness go in one ear and out the other.

There are militant atheists such as Dawkins, Dennett and Harris. Saying that militant atheists speak for all of us who don't happen to believe in god is as idiotic as saying that the Ayatollah speaks for all religionists because they all do believe in a god. It's just more of the nastiness that atheists are routinely subjected to. I don't know if there is a god, I don't believe it and I don't care.
