@ossobuco,
Hi Jo

I think you've missed my point. If someone I don't have on ignore quotes someone I do have on ignore I am blessed with the inanity I expressly chose to ignore.

Sometimes it's amusing to be reminded how 'box of hammers' stupid someone is but mostly it's just an unwanted reminder of why I put them on ignore in the first place.

@hingehead,
Yeh, I missed your point, sorry. Agree completely.

As I've mentioned on a2k too many times, people who want to see who said what, just click on what someone is answering. Upper left, small letters, with the reference name. No need to fking quote.
That can get to a kind of assault and battery, all the quoting.
Plus, done often, it slurps up space.

Beg pardon, and hoping you and crew are all ok.

Jeez, I told frank I got it on the guesses. What more could he want?

@edgarblythe,
Since you have so much to say about my being a troll...

...why can't you be serious about discussing what I initially wrote?

I can do it reasonable and respectfully. I think you can also.

So why are you being the way you are, Edgar?

Okay...I will accept that you are acknowledging that your assertion that there are no gods ...is a guess.

Not sure why you could not have done it in a less disguised way, but I do appreciate that you have done it at all.

That is all I have been saying right from the beginning, Edgar, and that if the title had been, "Another day with no gods detected" it would have been completely logical.

As for your question:

Quote:
Jeez, I told frank I got it on the guesses. What more could he want?

Would it be too much to ask that you consider me not to be a "fuckhead" or a troll...but rather someone participating, respectfully and reasonably, in a discussion you started here in A2K.

Jeez. The guy must be having a regular fit. How many ways are there to say, I understand what you mean about guesses? You are telling me that we can only guess, frank. I think that comes in loud and clear.

@edgarblythe,
No fit, Edgar...no fit at all.

Yes...on the question of whether or not gods exist in the REALITY of existence...one can ONLY guess. Theists who assert a god exists are guessing...and atheists who assert there are no gods are guessing.

I am glad it comes in "loud and clear."

But this is the first time you are acknowledging it...if that is what you are doing. Your wording is clever...which figures, because you are a clever fellow.

If you are, however, acknowledging it...good. Glad it finally got through. Perhaps this will answer the question I am often asked about why I continue to harp on it like I do.

Back again, frank? You don't need to remind me. Guesses is such an elemental concept I am not likely to forget.

Need to clean my glasses. I first read that at "Bigots from Space."

@edgarblythe,
Some of them even make sense. Just not when put together in that order.

I'm a real unbeliever.

You can talk to me then, as long as you don't pretend to know what I think..
