Tijdens de tijden van de Verzuiling heerste er een concensuspolitiek in het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden. Voor polarisatie was hier geen plaats. Door de opkomst van de televisie was er in deze jaren tevens sprake van een toenemende kijk buiten de zuil; dit resulteerde in een groter begrip tussen de verschillende bevolkingsgroepen; tevens zou dit uiteindelijk gaan leiden tot toenemende secularisatie.

Oh wait, you mean in English right?

Rolling Eyes Stupid me.

That wasn't English? I distinctly saw the word 'door'.

What about 'in'? 'Door' is not 'door'; that is 'deur'. 'Door' however is 'because of', and not 'door' like people tend to believe 'door' is; but that's 'deur'.

See. It's not that difficult Mr. Green

I know that old "translate it to Finnish" gag. You translate then we say it to a Finnish person and he punches me in the mouth.

Now do long-time couples in your part of Scandanavia finnish each other's sentences? I've always wondered. Okay, here is my sentence:

I am pining for the fjords. (Okay, fjords are Norwegian, but I'm still curious).

My eyes rolled because of canfancier. I don't think blonde makes somebody dumb, nor unobservant. Don't worry.

Be happy.

I knew you were rolling your eyes at me. It's okay, I'm here all week, and plan to come up with better jokes.
