Letty, according to the website Odysseus did order the horse to be built. But he wasn't the "physical" builder of it.

I have no idea who physically built that carved thing of beauty. Suffice it to say, that we have all been taken by a Trojan horse at one time or another. Clever person, Homer. and he was blind already.
