Characters in the book "The Book Thief adversity and how they dealt with each adversity

I am to write a 5 paragraph essay.First paragraph talks about the Holocaust in general(already done), and 3 paragraph(each paragraph for each character)and a concluding paragraph that sums up the 5 paragraph. The characters I have to do are:Liesel, Hans,Hubermann and Max Vandenburg. Can someone help me list some of the adversity that each of these character had and how they dealt with each adversity? I already have a list but not sure if they are correct.
