Why are some black people so angry?

I hope I don't get kicked off for this one. I know this represents a very small percentage of the black population, and there are just as many angry white people as well.

But.... I have known some very good black people who have done things like hold up a store at gunpoint. I have known them personally and known that they are good people with good hearts. So why do they sometimes do these "antisocial" behaviors? I have known very good (black) people do 15 years for doing something stupid like that.

Why do they do it? What are they angry at? Are they angry at racism, like police persecution? Is there something I don't know?

(I am not a racist at all)

Knowledge of history is very good.

So is that why?

Do they still feel that in the present?

Why? Is it police persecution and the legal system?

Is it poverty (caused by history)?

I have never been oppressed... so I don't know what it feels like. Do they feel it on a 24/7 basis. That sucks if they do. I think they're cooler than white people (on average).

But I have also known a lot of black people that were police officers, etc... that looked at that stuff (holding up stores) and called it stupid.

Because a lot of people (including black people I've known) say...

"Get over it. Look at the Holocaust, etc.".... but I really wouldn't know what it feels like, so....

But they are usually from higher-income families.

But every generation is a step in the right direction. Do you know how much less racist people are in this generation than they were 30 years ago?

50 years ago I had the physique of a gorilla. But I am white. If I looked like that now and were black, I would be scared @$#*less to walk through some parts of town at night.

Since you have known these angry black people personally and know they are good people with good hearts, why not ask them your question?

It is these individuals you seem to be concerned about, right? You aren't generalizing what you see in these few individuals to the whole race, right?

So, start a dialog with people you are personally familiar with. Ask why it is they are angry and do what you say they do? Conversing with individuals you personally know is a good start to changing your corner of the world you are "observing."

Why would you be scared if you were black? I would more be scared if I were white to walk through certain parts.

You mean you might get arrested for tresspassing? oh, wait... you mean like Trayvon Martin, don't you.

Okay... so it's the same reason that some white people that live in South Africa are unhappy with the government there.

I guess that makes sense.

What are they proud of?

Why? Because they have been carefully taught. It comes from the mistaken belief that they are especially entitled.
