In the instance of disease...the anus has very fine tissue . There are bacteria and viruses in the anus that will kill you . Most male homosexuals develop considerable scar tissue which can be used to determine the promiscuity of an individual if so required by a medical examination . However, they also have great stress in their lives in previous times as one can well imagine . This has lead to drug abuse, be it alcohol or it later centuries opium etc . This combination of a constant assault on the immune system, plus stress, plus drugs, lessens life expectancy considerably . We could also throw in its use in prisons in later centuries . STD's affect everyone, but the promiscuity of male homosexuals surprised researchers when they first started to compile statistics. More contact, more risk .
The complete opposite has been true for female homosexuals .
