I am running a school party and want a comical motto for the event and was wondering if anyone could help me translate the following?

"A goblin ate my homework"
"A dragon ate my homework"

I understand that may not be direct translations for certain words (homework for example) so am happy to have the word split down (home + work)
Thank you all so much!

@sammyhs,
It took a while to stop laughing.

"A goblin ate my homework"
Larva pensum domi manducavit.

"A dragon ate my homework"
Draco pensum domi manducavit.

I hope your party is a success!
