What can I do for a bad sunburn, on my back?
Look for a product with aloe vera in it. It not only cools the skin, but heals it.
... and then make sure you do your best not to get another bad sunburn (the kind that really hurt and eventually peel), as they can be the precursor to skin cancer in a decade, decade and a half.
Aloe vera is good. If you can't find it for some reason, look for a skin product with mint or cucumber in it as those are also meant to be cooling.

I don't know what you call "bad", but if it's really bad, I'd go to the ER for an appraisal and I'd be sure to drink lots of water, to avoid kidney problems down the road.
All good suggestions. My I compliment you on your choice of avatars, Christinagome?
If you want a bad sunburn on your back, I suggest prolonged exposure to the sun, while lying on your stomach.

I'd tend to avoid instances such as this and thus, lessen the likelihood of developing melanoma.
I used the Alvoe Vera, I almost back to normal. Thanks for all the suggestions!
you can beat the sunburn away with a rattan cane.
