Can't seem to find this topic right away so I'll make a new one :p

What's the word for staring 'blancly' into nothingness, not abscentminded or meditating, but you know...braindead, like, I _don't_ get it. That kind of look.

...
God, my english has deteriorated(I had to look that up to see how it's spelled Sad )

Could be any number of words: vacuous, vacant or impassive. Like any of those?

iaiau--

"A twelve foot stare in a ten foot room" is another way of saying "staring blankly". The starer isn't looking AT anything--he's focused beyond the walls.

HAHA! Scoop'n skeeters doesn't get any emptier. Of course, you have to be be from MN or SD to understand it.

HAHA gustav, it quit snowing last night. What is at the end of that handle you're holding?

didn't they call that the 100 yard stare in Nam?

Zoned out is applicable, although I like Scoop'n Skeeters the best I must say.
