Do logic and critical thinking have a place on A2K?

I'm just wondering, because it seems that A2K is more of a politically correct popularity contest than a marketplace for critical thinking and good ideas. It seems like ideology and dogma are much more important here.

But I'm sure this thread will be tagged with something nonsensical like "Misogyny", or "Whinger".

But that really only reflects on those of you who tagged it as such...

A2K is a politically correct popularity contest, it is a ranting forum for gun nuts, Tea Party wingnuts, refugees from the loony bin, Holocaust deniers, whining liberals, misogynists, anti-misogynists, Einstein deniers, it is a place for stumped crossword solvers to find answers they lack, for English learners to find out about verbs and nouns, it is a forum for lofty thoughts, it is a toilet wall for 13 year old Butthead wannabees. It is all those things, because it is a web forum! Any jackass with a computer or tablet or phone can sail in here and set up an account and post whatever crap they want. What did you expect? "Whinger" seems a pretty good tag, so thanks for the suggestion, which I shall now follow.

I am very politically incorrect and yet I am still here making arguments rooted in logic and supported with evidence, I am still part of the conversation. A2K making a place for me I think answers your question.
