@coldjoint,
Are you proud of this president? Is he someone you would hold up to a child you cared about as a role model?

Of course he does, he thinks Trump is fond of people like him. He's driven more by resentment than patriotism. Trump is an expert when it comes to exploiting the incurious, lazy and resentful.

@glitterbag,
Yes to everything you said. Except maybe one. I don’t give 45 credit for expertise in anything. He is ****, behaving like ****. The fact that **** naturally attracts flies doesn’t owe itself to any higher attributes.
That’s why, when they actually try to name what’s admirable about their leader, they sound so ******* challenged. “Darrrr, he tells it like it is!” “Uh duhhh, he’s strong!” “He duh, don’t take any ****!”

NATO Leaders Challenge Trump to Spell NATO
Handing Trump a pencil and a yellow legal pad, Angela Merkel watched as the President struggled to spell the word correctly, crumpling page after page in the effort.

@snood,
Trump is an expert at driving republicans from the party, embarrassing our country and attempting to cheat and cover up his vile and immoral crimes.

Trump is a gift that keeps giving with every one of his moronic tweets.

Eventually even his die-hard fans will find him to be an expert at being truly disgusting and repulsive.

Trump has turned lunacy and idiocy into an art form.

That is incorrect. The vast majority of the electoral college cast their vote in line with the will of the voters that they represented.

The issue of your response ignores the pivotal shift in women's issues. The fact that Kavanough is now a Supreme Court justice shows how that shift women have endured endless centuries of being subjugated to a Rule of Law. Now that the #Metoo movement has shed light on how prevalent women are perceived as lesser humans, expected to endure injustices as a nature of who we are is coming to an end. Trump's misogyny isn't just his problem, it's your problem too.

Come on now. The metoo movement is just a bunch of silly feminists throwing a tantrum.

But it was nice of them to torpedo Franken. He'd probably be rallying nutty leftists against our president right now if they hadn't taken him down.

@oralloy,
No they didn't. Winner-takes-all guaranteed that they didn't. If there were proportionality they would come closer to representing the actual will of the voters. Real proportionality, allocating say hundredths of an electors vote would come closer.

@oralloy,
The only one I see throwing a tantrum is you.

I guess with you hailing from Michigan, with two Democratic senators (one is a woman) and half the House representatives are Democratic with the majority of women, including Rashida Tlaib, just burns your biscuits.

NATO Leaders Challenge Trump to Spell NATO
By Andy Borowitz, December 3, 2019, for the New Yorker

LONDON (The Borowitz Report)—This year’s summit of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization began on a discordant note, on Tuesday, after the other twenty-eight NATO leaders challenged Donald Trump to spell NATO.

At a preliminary gathering of the leaders, Trump demanded that the other member nations increase their cash contributions to the alliance, prompting Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, to issue the unexpected and unwelcome spelling challenge.

“We’ll be happy to give more to NATO, Mr. President, if you can spell NATO,” she said, drawing raucous applause from the other leaders.

Handing Trump a pencil and a yellow legal pad, Merkel watched as he struggled to spell the word correctly, crumpling page after page in the effort.

After several failed attempts, Trump finally offered up a drawing of several stick figures standing in a row and asked for “partial credit.”

When the other NATO leaders rejected his request by a 28–0 voice vote, Trump stormed out of the room, vowing never to return.

In a joint communiqué, the NATO leaders said that they were looking forward to spending the rest of the summit watching the impeachment hearings.

It certainly did have to do with Bush cutting regulation funds for our financial agencies, and neglect of enforcing regulations.

That was not done by Bush, it was done by Bill Clinton, that is when the banking rules were changed. Bush had nothing to do with the housing market crash that ruin the economy. It was the Dem's who thought "everyone" should be able to buy a home, when clearly not everyone can afford to buy a home. People didn't watch what was happening the their adjustable mortgage rates before it was to late and their payments jumped.

If you want to better idea of what happened, you should watch the movie The Big Short. Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale and many other Hollywood elites.

I'm going to be very pleased with the restoration olf American democratic norms which a Democratic prez and congress will enact.

A return to democratic norms? What norms would those be, the popular vote of the President? That was never a democratic norm, the norm is the EC.

Nonsense. Plenty of direct evidence came oout in the hearings. You clearly didnt pay attention or have no idea what hearsay means. Maybe both/

There was no direct evidence and every person when interviewed under direct questioning all came back with the same answer: there was no "quid pro quo". They might have claimed as much in their opening statements, but when questioned they gave different answers. They had to give different answers, it's illegal to lie to Congress.

The exact opposite is true. Projection, repeated over and over. It worked on you. You believe the narrative only.
