I actually thought that the reports of a reactor-powered missile were goofy propaganda (or perhaps ignorant reporters misunderstanding something) when I first heard them.

When this recent nuclear accident confirmed that Russia is actually testing a missile powered by a nuclear reactor, I was stunned at how stupid Russia is for trying to develop such a thing.

But maybe this goofy project can be used to spur development funds for better American weapons (not a reactor-powered missile of course, but rather better versions of weapons that are actually useful).
