Except the "Universal Background Checks" would have had no effect on any of the mass shootings that have taken place. The only thing those types of background checks do is make private sales of guns subject to background checks, none of the shooters have purchased their guns in a private sale, they all went to gun stores and had Federal FFL background checks ran, and passed.

Please explain how you enforce these background checks? How do you know one person sold a gun to another? You would need a gun registration, which is the next step in the left restricting the 2nd Amendment to the point where it won't exist. Why do you lie to the general public about your true aims?

Gun "rights" zealotry for ease of access and as nearly universal possession of guns as possible is clearly putting guns in the hands of thousands of people who Are going to use them for the purpose for which they were invented in the first place, i.e. to kill someone else, which deprives those people killed of their essential human rights. That deprivation of humn rights is inextricably tied up with the use of guns.. not theoretical use but ACTUAL violation of civil rights.
