No, he is an ex-congressman. His use of both campaign and public funds led to his resignation in 2015. He was subsequently indicted in 2016 (Federal Grand Jury). He plead not guilty and this past March reached an agreement with prosecutors and charges against him were dropped. (The campaign committee was convicted)
