We should begin a campaign to prohibit the sale, ownership, and use of semi-automatic weapons by civilians in the USA. This idiocy where any discussion of gun control is shut down by wholly predictable and pathetically infantile appeals to "rights and freedoms" has persisted for too long. The 2nd Amendment is an anachronism — it should be re-interpreted and eventually repealed.
