I don't trust CNN's take on the events, as they constantly take the side that isn't Trumps, it's a bias that is very obvious in their coverage. Much like your take on Jim Acosta and the cutting the fence with an angle grinder.

I'm sure you can find coverage of the facts that doesn't belong to CNN. You don't accept Fox News as a source, why should I accept CNN?

Don't confuse people like me with the "republicans", they aren't the right either for the most part. They just like to talk the talk but they fail to walk the walk. The 70% figure doesn't impress me due to the anti-wall talk by the media. They use all the tricks to make the wall look bad including calling the wall racist and declaring it won't work. Area's of the country that do indeed have a form of border barrier have seen a decline in crime and other such issues that illegal immigration has brought to the border. The media is not pro-American and they do not care about our sovereignty either, they favor a world wide govt with no borders and no nations. They don't even report the import news, when was the last time you saw any news about the protests that have been raging in France since mid-November? Our local media has largely been silent about the protests except to maybe highlight the violence taking place. No mention that the people are sick of Marcon and want their country back.

I don’t think we should build an expensive, ineffective wall.

So you’re saying that a wall is needed to stop these 4000 terrorists that trump said were coming into America.

You’re also saying that this wall could be breached with a $120 angle grinder powered by batteries.

What happened to the pro-gun refrain of “bad guys will find a way”.

Let’s call this what it is. Compensation.

This is a BS argument, if you won't allow concrete, steel is the next best thing. If your concern is that steel can be cut with a cheap battery powered angle iron, and that is the whole of your armament, then have the wall built with tougher material. The fact remains that a barrier is better than nothing, which is what your propose.

And I don’t drive a Porsche. I drive a Toyota Sienna (that's a minivan - and I don't even have kids). I used to own a Porsche 944 that was worth about $6000 if I remember correctly.

Inneffective and embarrassed? I don't think you are looking at the same state of things in the US. The economy is actually doing quite well, unemployment blew the predictions out of the water, he has signed a new trade deal with Canada and Mexico, he's on his way to a new trade deal with China... It seems inneffective is a way of saying the DNC is trying to block any progress, just like the DNC blamed on the GOP when they wouldn't let Obama have his way?
