I'm ok with business's making these types of decisions, as it will only effect their bottom line. Ban guns if they want to or allow them. I can only tell you that a vast majority of mass shootings have happened in gun free zones.

The government is a business, can they ban guns too? Not when the NRA pays and underhandedly weakens the government's ability to protect its citizens.

The US government sells education, they sell mail delivery, tax services, they hire contractors for infrastructure repairs and new projects and they also sell military weapons and services (among many other items and services).

Uhh, (just in case you didn't know) businesses sell things...

Yet we do not have our government buying off the gun shareholders forcing them to have guns in their NRA conventions. Yet the NRA pays lobbyists to try and force people to have guns allowed in public buildings i.e. City Hall, the US Post Office, National Parks and PUBLIC SCHOOLS of all things!!! Also restaurants, theatres, public beaches and swimming pools, even babies should be armed (according to most repugs)... WTF!

But the NRA prohibits guns in their conventions, "for safety reasons"?

What reasons might that be? More guns provide more opportunity for freaks to go nuts? I thought more guns kept us safe?

So any party that defends the 2nd Amendment, believes in defending the US against invaders, thinks we should put those who commit the worst crimes to death, wants a more free market system for health care, can't be pro-life?

Kind of a twisted version of pro-life when the people you don't like want to save innocent life, babies from legal murder, and put those who are guilty to death?

Were you a supporter of the death penalty for the CO theater shooter? He committed a horrible crime with a gun and killed lots of people. Should he have been spared?

How far are you going to go with this silly notion that the govt is a business. They don't sell anything and no matter how much you try and twist the meaning of what they do. Business has competition, and the govt and the left doesn't allow competition for the govt.

If you want to say the govt is like a business, then how about we actually run the govt like a business? Allow for competition in these area's you have pegged as govt offerings. You would never allow it to be run that way, so stop trying to say that it is a business. Any business that ran like the govt wouldn't be a business long and you know this.

You whole argument is flawed and can't be reasonably debated as nothing you have said is rooted in actual business practices. It goes to show that you have never run a business.



As you continue down this road of a dishonest gun debate, let it be shown that the site where the convention is being held bans guns, not the NRA.

He's not 100% wrong. There are groups of people out there who do not try as hard as others. They also happen to be the people who will vote for anyone offering them more wealth redistribution.

Why would someone who lives off of our generous 150+ social welfare programs want to lower their "income"? They already put far less into a system where they are getting out. Talk about paying their fair share...
