Actually George, the policies of Perez, Ellison, Warren and the irascible Bernie Sanders are mainstream not a small fraction.

Hillary won the popular vote, remember? The republicans are in power because the corporate oligarchy and their money put them there with fake news, fear mongering lies and propaganda.

As of February 2018 81% of "the electorate" supports some sort of free college. Where is the republican plan for free college? Instead they are gutting arts and humanities funding and making it harder for colleges to get grants. And let's not forget how much the republicans love science. Do you think only a small fraction of Americans support science and innovation?

Dumb people are easier to force into slave labor.

American voters support stricter gun laws 66 - 31 percent, the highest level of support ever measured by the independent Quinnipiac University National Poll, with 50 - 44 percent support among gun owners and 62 - 35 percent support from white voters with no college degree and 58 - 38 percent support among white men.

Where are the stricter gun laws from the republicans?

You lie George... this "small fraction" that support democratic policies is actually the mainstream.

Your deluded and warped view of the electorate indicates you have drank the Fox News Kool-Aid...

@TheCobbler,
Odd isn't it that the Democrats in Congress have not submitted any legislation on gun control, free college tuition, DACA or immigration reform.

Hahaha, main stream.

The popular vote means nothing in the Presidential election, never has. It seems the MSM has been on this slat since Hillary lost, their favored darling...

I can't find any polls that show that high of support for free education. BTW, it isn't free and once people start getting details on what it will cost and how the money will be collected, taxes, most people become turned off.

Any plans I have heard from the other side of the isle usually want to limit what sorts of degrees are paid for, limited to STEM, the hard sciences and then to trade schools. I don't think the DNC has accounted for Trade Schools and the usefulness of those educations.

Quote:
Dumb people are easier to force into slave labor.

You mean people indoctrinated into left-wing dogma at the University level don't actually work for a living? Last time I checked slavery wasn't a thing in the US.

They only support this because the media and the left-wing politicians lie about what the current gun laws are. The media runs propaganda against guns and gun owners and you wonder why people want more gun laws. You were talking about education being the key, well people are mostly uneducated about what the current laws are.

Using the term "assault weapon" is a perfect example. Assault weapons by definition are already a heavenly restricted item, they are the full auto guns, which haven't been used in a mass shootings.

Quote:

The only "stricter" gun laws you and the extreme left support is a ban. It won't happen. Why would the GOP vote for something their supports do not support?

Quote:

Propaganda pushed as policy, that's what the DNC and the left have. They are not real solutions to anything. Free college is going to put college degree's on par with high school diploma's, they will be worthless and the left will find another education scam to run on the American people. They can't even properly education our public school kids. You've filled their heads with SJW bullshit that doesn't matter in the real world. Your ilk is forming the next generation of Brown Shirts.

Quote:
Your deluded and warped view of the electorate indicates you have drank the Fox News Kool-Aid...

I think you are the deluded one. A majority of the crap you post is proven wrong, but you ignore it and move on to the next propaganda piece your DNC masters give you. What's the latest outrage today? ****-holes or Animals?

No lie. The mainstream you speak of is the narrative from the MSM. It is the lie, you insist on perpetuating.

Now?

It is just easy to dismiss democrats and say they don't offer anything beside hate on Trump. I guess they figured since we said for eight years while Obama was president, they can say it now. Only thing is we didn't have a meeting the day Trump was inaugurated and flat out say something along the lines of "our only job is to make sure Trump is a one term President." They preceded to do just that; they just failed.

This is part of the bullshit propaganda put forth by the MSM and the left. No such thing happened prior his inauguration, what you are talking about took place 2 years later after the 2010 mid-term elections, when the GOP took The House back from the DNC. In reality, Obama had a majority in Congress, both The House and the Senate were controlled by the DNC, and they were just short of a super-majority in the Senate. Don't rewrite history to push propaganda. You wonder why less and less Americans trust the MSM and the left? You can't even get simple history correct.

@gungasnake,
I guess gunga never heard of sleaze Trump. According to Politifact, Trump lies most of the time. How does his supporters know where he stands on anything, since he's contradicted himself so often. https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/05/donald-trump-2016-contradictions-213869
Besides all that, Trump is a bigot and liar.

Pretty much the Democratic platform. Tearing the country apart because they are out of power. For the country's sake let's keep it that way.

Why Trump is a moron. His actions against China will end up costing more for American consumers.
Quote:
"Our trade deal with China is moving along nicely, but in the end we will probably have to use a different structure in that this will be too hard to get done and to verify results after completion," Trump wrote in his post.

U.S. stocks slipped after his comments, with all three major indexes down less than 1 percent in late morning trading as analysts anticipated a rocky session.

Trump went to Wharton, but fails to understand simple Economics. How did this moron graduate from Wharton?

Apparently Trump and the Saudis have a deal that Americans should pay more for gas... The cost of being elected by foreign nationals.
