When and where did I or anyone here say that? I don't expect an answer from you. Tell me do you think this will help the Dems in the midterms?

@cicerone imposter,
Considering you got your SS and I won't get mine, I wouldn't mind a different system for us folks, people in there 40's, to shift towards a more private system. I should be allowed to invest my own SS if I chose, it has a better chance of paying out then the current outdated system.

Obama DOJ Forced FBI To Delete 500,000 Fugitives From Background Check Database

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department under Barack Obama directed the FBI to drop more than 500,000 names of fugitives with outstanding arrest warrants from the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, acting FBI deputy director David Bowdich testified Wednesday.

Another story telling Americans that Obama had no regard for their lives. This is right out of Cloward/Piven. The object is to overload the system until it breaks. Democrats luvs thems some criminals, legal or illegal. Should help in the midterms.

@TheCobbler,
From your link:
Quote:
In the five years and three months since the December 14, 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook in Newtown, Connecticut, when 20-year-old Adam Lanza killed 20 first graders and six adults with an AR-15-style rifle, about 7,000 children have died by gunfire. Though the exact figure is unclear, it rivals the tally of U.S. military deaths overseas—in 11 fewer years.

So that includes every accidental death? I bet it includes children of someone who owns gun dying for any reason. Like the number of school shootings when some take place on school property when there is no one in school, or again an accident. You realize there is a difference.

But the fact the Left uses children in every way possible. Why doesn't Newsweek link to a study? Who is backing them up? They do not list their source. In other words more bullshit.

@coldjoint,
All those conservative gun owners whose children will never grow up to be "just like their old man"...

Poetic justice huh?

you want a study?

Have you ever heard of Google?

try googling this "accidental shooting deaths of children since 2012"

There is your study...

Guns kill nearly 1,300 US children each year, study says

Chronicle of agony: Gun accidents kill at least 1 kid every other day
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2016/10/14/ap-usa-today-gun-accidents-children/91906700/

Red states have the most incident.

Pales in comparison to deaths from car accidents. So when do we start banning the use of private cars on public roads?

Better ban swimming pools too. Pretty deadly.

@TheCobbler,
Gun rights folks seem oblivious to the simple fact that more guns means more gun accidents. When children "accidentally" kill their siblings or parents, that's a high price to pay for having a gun at home.

From aftermath.com:
Quote:
According to the Centers for Disease Control, there were 130,557 deaths in 2013 from unintentional injuries, the 4th ranking cause of death in 2013 overall. From 2005-2010, almost 3,800 people in the U.S. died from unintentional shootings.

No. We are not oblivious to that at all.

In other news, more swimming pools means more accidental drownings and more cars means more deaths from car accidents.

And people have spent the last century making swimming pools and cars safer and figuring out ways to prevent accidents, while they have spent the last century making guns more lethal, able to kill more people with less effort.
