See, this is the problem with the way you use data. 60% of those gun deaths were from suicide and we don't even have close the highest rates of suicide in the 1st world. Not to mention we actually have gun crime rates dropping while gun ownership has climbed in the US.

Logic 103 : more than five times as many people are killed with guns than are killed with knives. Guns are used much more and are much more lethal. That's why sensible people want to deal with the gun epidemic, despite murder enablers like oralloy. There''s no such thing as a bump stock for a knife.

That's not logic. That's irrelevant trivia. It makes no difference whether they were killed with a gun or a knife.

The victim is equally as dead no matter which method is used to kill them.

We own guns, my husband and I know how to use them but neither one of us needs to walk around with a grenade launcher. I'm not sure if you realize how foolish you appear to others. But I do admire how oblivious you are to rational thought, it must be a comforting notion. To each his own, I just hope you live at least a two day drive away from me and my family. It might just be an old wive's tale, but I do worry that simple-mindedness could be transmitted to others.
