@Baldimo,
You listed 3 states. One has no voter ID law. The other 2 passed their voter ID laws in the last few years. Wisconsin voter ID law has not yet been implemented because it had been blocked by the courts with an injunction.

Quote:
You are assuming the only reason people don't have ID is due to cost. You are also assuming that they were only made free after the passing of the voter ID laws. That is a lot of assumptions you have made.

I am only following the law that you can't charge for an ID that is used for voting. I don't have to assume anything about voter IDs only becoming free after the law was passed. I can simply look up the law. You are the one assuming things here.

You might want to look at the plaintiffs in the WI court case.

Damn Parados, you are wrong again.

From the ACLU page:

Quote:
The American Civil Liberties Union filed a federal lawsuit charging that Wisconsin's voter ID law is unconstitutional and will deprive citizens of the right to vote, as provided under the Constitution and the Voting Rights Act. On April 29, 2014, the district court struck down Wisconsin’s voter ID law, but on October 6, a divided appellate court reversed the ruling. On January 7, 2015, the ACLU filed a petition asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review the ruling and to hear this case of paramount importance. On March 23, 2015, the Supreme Court declined to hear the case. The ACLU immediately filed an emergency motion with a federal appeals court to keep the law from taking effect for the April election. Later that same day, state officials announced they would delay the law's implementation through that election.

Yet you have provided no info to back your case. Can you prove they were only free after the law passed? The info you provided above was even wrong and not up to date.

@Baldimo,
Gosh Baldimo... what election in Wisconsin required an ID? So far, NONE. It will be implemented in next years election. It had been blocked until March of this year. Read my statement. It HAD been blocked. (Past tense.) My info was hardly wrong. Your reading comprehension is lacking. The ACLU page supports my statement. I never said it was STILL blocked.

Here is the text of the bill which adds the language making the card free of charge.

@Baldimo,
Dimo, when a person works their whole life and pays taxes and pays into the social security fund, THEY STILL PAY TAXES.

When a welfare person gets to avoid paying taxes on food why is that so? Because they were already taxed on their social security money or do you think they should be taxed twice on the same money?

You give lip service saying that a low wage earner should certainly pay their taxes but when corporations do not pay their fair share you are silent.

You are corrupt...

No Rex, we do not want the nuclear war with Russia that you may not intend, but would nonetheless lead us to, so just STFU.

That said, if we pour enough weapons and training into Ukraine, we can keep Russia so busy there that they will not have time to even think about invading the EU, thereby avoiding Rex's nuclear war without needing to have a new Cold War.

Gosh Baldimo. You sound just like the people that claim Cheney invaded Iraq to make billions for Halliburton.

@parados,
If true, at least Halliburton is a US company. Way different than selling off some of our strategic interests to a Russian Company, especially in light of Russia's moves in the Ukraine at the time.

@Baldimo,
What are you upset about there?

Are you upset by actual facts or by speculation that is unsupported by facts?
Clinton was Sec of State and the State Department was one of SEVERAL that had to sign off on it. That means Clinton didn't sell anything off.

I love how the story buries this...

Whether the donations played any role in the approval of the uranium deal is unknown.

So, once again. We see you are using mere speculation rather than facts to make an accusation.

@parados,
You did the same thing above. What's your point? There is more information pointing to possible wrong doing's with Hillary than there was for Cheney and Halliburton. Unless there was some investigation done by the Dems they never revealed.

I wonder what Hillary's emails say... We don't know, she deleted them and expected us to take her word that they were all turned over. The question is how many more email accounts did she have? She admitted to one account until a 2nd one was uncovered.

Trump Vows to Create Jobs for Comedians
NEW YORK (Andy Borowitz) - Businessman Donald Trump entered the Presidential race today, telling the nation's comedians, "I'm doing this for you." Trump said he hoped his candidacy would fill the void of ridicule created by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's failure to enter the race. "There are far too many unemployed comedians in this nation," Trump said. "I'm going to put you back to work." Just hours after entering the race, a new poll of comedians showed Trump in first place, pulling ahead of former Texas Governor Rick Perry.
