@TheCobbler,
Quote:Our billionaires on the left aren't greedy racist pigs.. BIG DIFFERENCE.
They are multinational corporations who influence the govt to make sure the business and share holders make as much money as possible. Their only intention is to own as much of the market share as possible and make their corp #1. Don't fool yourself into thinking anything else just because they share your left leaning political beliefs.
Quote:We on left support our billionaires because they support charities that help and support "all" people.
Pfft. Window dressing for tax write offs just like a majority of the wealthy. If they really cared about such things, they wouldn't take the write offs, they would just give the money away. I would be more impressed if they lead from the front and paid their full taxes without write offs. Until then their "charities" mean little to me.
Quote:Unlike your fascist billionaires on the right who are nothing but sour old greedy men and women using religion to hide their dirty and dastardly deeds. i.e. Trump, the Kochs, the Waltons, Papa John...
Fascist... the word of the year. I'm pretty much going to ignore anything labeled by people such as yourself, It's just another misused buzz word by the extreme left.
Quote:We are proud of our billionaires on the left... Yes, Gates, Soros, Zuckerberg... they support "accurate" science and ethical technologies,
I'm all for accurate science and ethical technologies as well, but that doesn't really mean **** when you only apply "accurate" science to mean "climate change". I plan on being on the waiting list for Tesla Model 3 here in the next 6 months or so, so it isn't about "ethical tech" as you call it as much is it is a war against the oil companies. Don't try and hide behind some use of "ethical tech".
Quote:public schools, eradicating climate change, national monuments, our US constitution, human rights, sustainable farming practices, green clean energy, healthcare for all. Oh, and the list goes on...
Public schools are not going to improve until the local school districts start listening to the people who pay their salaries and stop being to the teachers unions, because it that institution which has done the most damage to our public school system. I'm not sure why for someone who claims to be "pro-choice" why you are against school choice.
Human rights? That's a pretty general comment, unless you mean LGBT rights. If that is the case, then I'm not sure what you are upset about, the SCOTUS pretty much ruled in favor of that whole situation and I think a vast majority of people even those in the right agree with their decision, I know I'm one of them. You conflate a minority on the right with the right in general.
Sustainable Farming. That one is interesting, as that is part of the point of the science of GMO's and there are a bunch of "pro-science" people who are against the very idea of science improving the output and stability of our grown foods.
Clean Green Energy. This should be read as anti-oil. When green energy can produce the energy we need I'll support it, until then let the science of green energy continue to be studied. I have nothing against green energy but I'm against the anti-oil groups.
Healthcare for all. I'm all for it but I'm not for a "medicare for all" or "single payer" system as I don't think it can be done with a nation the size of the US.
Not Papa John, that's for sure. This is why it is so hard to take your extreme brand with any honesty. Like a majority of the pointless meme's you post, it is a lie and was never said by the man.

Quote:Don't try and compare good apples with rotten worm infested ones.
I didn't compare them, I just stated that you are worried about the #9 and #10 guys but aren't concerned with the #1-8 guys, minus 1 because he is in Spain and not a US citizen, because you agree with their spoken politics and choice of tax write-offs. I would be more impressed if they put their money where their mouths were without the write-offs. This is why I'm all for lowering the tax rates for people as well as corp's but we eliminate the write-off's for the very wealthy, it will show you who really cares. I donate to a few places but I never claim the tax write-off, sure my donations don't really exceed anything more than a few hundred bucks a year compared to their maybe millions. I also don't see putting your own money into your own charity and then claiming the tax write-off as anything special either.
