@cicerone imposter,
This makes me very nervous. The American voters elected Bush and Chaney who invented the middle east terroists while spending 2 trillion on useless wars. I wonder if tRump can top this?

Your history is a little off. Terrorism has been around for decades, long before Bush was President.

@RABEL222,
There's no question in many people's minds that Trump is capable of topping Bush and Chaney. He's already said, if we have nukes, why can't we use them?

@hingehead,
And yet Detroit was run by Democrats for decades and it doesn't look any better than Somalia. In fact a majority of the US biggest cities have been run by Dems for decades and there has been no to little improvement in the quality of living for the poor in those major cities.

@Baldimo,
Much like the whole of the US then?

What an odd worldview you live in.

This comment leads me to believe you have never been to the US. I live outside Denver and it is one of the most beautiful places in the US. Up until the last 10 years or so CO was pretty solid red but we have had a huge influx of liberals from CA and other various states and my state is starting to suffer because of it. Rent and housing prices are going out of control, cost of living is starting to outpace salaries and traffic getting really bad.

It's odd that you think the majority of the US looks like Detroit. That place is a **** hole that has been run into the ground by the Dems.

Seems like most of the country is shifting. Trump split the conservative party, and we're still not sure how they'll recover from that debacle.

@Baldimo,
Not sure if you're wilfully misreading my response so I'll make it unambiguous.

I was saying that this was like whole of the US "there has been no to little improvement in the quality of living for the poor in those major cities"

Thanks for your Denver anecdote that confirms my assumption and expanding it to the non-poor.

Curse those pesky Detroit democrats - shifting auto production off shore. Goddamn conspiracy I tells ya.

That's what happens when the unions get control of the political system. Detroit was overly Union friendly and that is indeed why they left. The cost of doing business with the Unions and govt regulation eventually take their toll. You will notice that the southern states are where a majority of the overseas car companies have put their factories. They are mostly non-union and provide good pay and benefits.

@Baldimo,
Damn - economics isn't your strong point is it?

They put their factories where they can make the most profit - be that because of labour costs, delivery costs, material costs or tax incentives from governments - or more likely a mix of these and a bunch of others.

Thanks for ignoring my point about 'much like the whole USA'.

Didn't you know, a majority of the biggest cities in the US are run by Dems and have been for decades.

Is that better?

It's a necessary attribute. Keeps him from ever having to acknowledge anything outside the little bubble.

@Baldimo,
Look at who is accusing someone of reinventing history. If you dont like a fact you just change history to suite your opinion. Ok, now tell me to prove where you have ever done this but you are going to have prove to me that you never did this. I am not wasting my time on a proven liar.

Actually, it would be the reduction in tariffs that allowed them to take business overseas and ship the products back. So it would be the opposite of government regulation that caused overseas production.

Your implication is that there were no terrorists prior to Bush being in office. I disagree with you and I'm the liar? I've got my history wrong? My opinion that terrorism was a thing prior to Bush is changing history to meet my opinion?

I'm beyond asking for proof because you never provided any from the start. It's a waste of time to expect a decent debate out of you. I'm used to the name calling and childish behavior of you and your ilk. Personal attacks have become your bread and butter. You hardly ever partake in a debate and instead you only show up to talk **** and insult and then disappear again. I'm sure you will toss about a few more insults and names, but once again that is about the totality of your contribution here at A2K.

Now back to the point of the post you made. 20th century terrorism, which is what you were referring to when you mentioned Bush Jr., didn't really start until the late 70's, or did you forget about the airplanes that were taken hostage in the 80's? Or the bombings at the disco's in Germany? How about the IRA? How about people like Che Guevara and his acts of terror against civilians in South America?

As I said before, you had your history wrong. If my history is wrong then please provide some proof that I'm wrong.
