Obama's oldest daughter is going to college soon, I wonder what school she got into... I'm sure she isn't going to join the service and end up in Syria and Afghanistan.

I wasn't the one complaining about others people's kids going to school, that was Tea, he/she seems to have an issue with it, I was pointing out the Presidents kids won't be joining either.

It isn't the bathrooms, it making whole sale changes to society to benefit a minority of a minority. These people have made a choice to live life as a sex different than what they were born and society is forced to adapt to them. That was never the point of our great society.

They've not made a choice. If you'd had any dealings with the trans community you'd realise that. People don't choose to be gay, trans or black. You make a conscious choice to be a bigot.

Of course that would be your and the leftists take on the subject. Just like when people want lower taxes, you take the approach that they said no taxes. When someone doesn't want to make an "accommodation" for the smallest of the smallest minority group, even if that accommodation has an impact on all of society, its a law against all LGBT people. Well it isn't. There are accommodations and there is forcing society. You guys don't want accommodations you want it your way or nothing at all. It's always all or nothing with you people.

Do you see a law allowing transgender people to go to the bathroom of their choice as having an impact on your life?

I am curious as to how that has an impact on ALL of society. Most people don't care. A large number will never meet a transgender person or even know if they do. The majority will never share a bathroom with a transgender person.

Yeah, my point exactly. I don't see how it's going to contribute to the downfall of society writ large. I just wanted to frame the question so that Baldimo could answer in the context of just how it would affect him individually.

Did I say the downfall of society? It more than likely won't have an impact on my directly but that isn't the point, I don't see why society is forced to accept the choices of a minority of a minority. I happen to see transgender as a mental disorder, but that's just my opinion. I don't think it is normal to mutilate one's self to fit what they consider to be their internal self image.

I have an Uncle/Aunt, a friend of the family since I was born, that 5 years ago decided he wanted to live as a woman. Wears a wig and had tits installed. I don't treat him any different and I go out in public with him, but to say he is now a woman...
