I'm sure he never heard of McConnell. He's only been in the news a billion times.

That ass brayed from day one he was going to make the President fail.

@Blickers,
Hopefully before the General Election. Of course the state gets a chance to deal with it before the Feds can step in.

Petition to allow open carry at the Republican National convention. I would sign it but I'm not an American.

@izzythepush,
It would still be safer than the South side of Chicago on an average weekend.

@izzythepush,
Putting words in my mouth again Izzy. I said Chicago... I have no problem walking around Denver on an average weekend or day. Your bias is showing.

@Baldimo,
Chicago is in America. I didn't realise your geography was that bad.

1. How would you know?
2. Must be dangerous if the GOP wants to ban handguns from the Convention. Cruz must be worried Lindsay Graham is showing up.

@bobsal u1553115,
When I lived in Chicago back in the late fifties, I walked on the South side of Chicago often. I also visited the Museum of Science and Industry often, walking in that area of the city. Never felt scared.
As a matter of fact, when I worked at a night club, Honolulu Harry's, on Friday nights and weekends in North Chicago on Wilson, there were several blacks working at the restaurant. I used to go with them to some hide-a-ways like you see in the movies some times to South Chicago. They have a peep hole to see whose there. I was invited by my friends, and enjoyed that time of my life.
My buddy's parents owned this night club.

@bobsal u1553115,
I don't know, as I can't begin to understand him. At some point, I considered that he meant to help Hillary. At some points I have gathered that he took the road to sociopathy.

That the US has comes to this just about kills me.

Nate Silver, the statistician and polling expert with a long history of accurate predictions, has a chilling prediction for Republicans regarding the projected electoral map.

Silver took to his Twitter account on Thursday, posting a map of a general election between Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton and Republican hopeful Donald Trump.

Based on current polling, the outcome isn’t even close. Indeed, as New Republic reports, “Never mind key swing states like Ohio, Virginia, and Florida. The Republicans are in jeopardy of losing states like North Carolina, Arizona, and even Georgia if these numbers hold. All told, the margin of victory could exceed that of President Obama’s sweeping 2008 win over John McCain.”

The New Republic goes on to note that although a lot can change in the next eight months, “Clinton has consistently led Trump in national head-to-head polling by substantial margins.”

@cicerone imposter,
Chicago is a lot safer than the public in the rest of the nation thinks.

I lived there from '96 to 2000 and I was impressed with how much safer it was than in the '72 when we were ordered to stay out of "old town" and the southside.
