You know, one really does not need to gander why democrats are so divided from republicans right now.

Does anyone really believe Israel attacked a hospital? Or, is it Putin who bombs nursery schools and hospitals?

@Bogulum,
What is very striking is how quiet and dignified the Jewish people on this forum have behaved during the current crisis.

The OP is extremely ignorant of World events and has difficulties with the definition of English words.

He, like Orally, mistakenly believes he can drown out all opposition by raising the volume.

It's not something smart people do.

Unfortunately, she SHOULD be spending hard time in prison for what she did. Instead, she is going to get six years of probation...and a small fine.

I do not like this at all.

@Frank Apisa,
She can testify against both Trump and Guiliani.

She was in the room when key decisions were being taken.

It's what the prosecution wanted.

I agree she's a repulsive individual who only "flipped" when she realised Hall would testify against her.

In an ideal world she should see time, but if her walking is the price for Trump going down, then I think it's reasonable enough.

Let's face it, Trump supporters are a bunch of psychotic nutjobs, they'll brand her a traitor and she'll be looking over her shoulder for the rest of her life anyway.

@Frank Apisa,
So what’s your current take on the chances that the orange turd will get prison time, Frankster?
I want to check with you and a couple others periodically - as different wrinkles in his several cases unfold (like the recent flips) - to see if your opinion about his ultimate fate is changing.

Over the course of the last 6 months, my feeling has gone from about a 10% chance that they’ll lock him up, to now about 25%.

My mind has changed and modified so often on this issue, that I am almost ashamed of myself. But it is a situation we've really never seen before, so I give myself a lot of leeway.

I do not estimate the chances of him actually seeing the inside of a prison cell at much more than 25%...so we are not far apart on that point. I want to emphasize that has to do much more with logistics (and international optics) than with whether or not he richly deserves a very, very long time in the joint.

I tend to lessen the anger I feel about that by aknowledging that a personality like Trump will suffer almost as much with some of the things that will be used in place of actual prison confinement.

House arrest in very moderate accommodations (something that may well be an alternative)...with exceptionally restricted visitation by others...would be a scourge for him. Absolutely NO GOLF whatsoever...is another thing that only a regular golfer can appreciate as a torturous punishment. Fact is, a plain porcelain toilet is probably something he would loathe...and combine that with requiring the use of the waxed paper they use for toilet tissue in prisons would up the ante as punishment.

He should get more. Years in prison are not really enough as punishment for what he has done. But I have difficulty seeing it certain that it will come to that.

Lotta **** going down right now. My guess is that he is going through plenty of punishment just reading newspapers or listening to news shows.

@Frank Apisa,
I am now seeing some kind of 100% clemency plea to wipe his record clean and he would also run no more!

@BillW,
That's like a reverse plea bargain.

All it spells to me, is that he's a threat to
the plans of those pushing buttons
in the background.

That could happen, because nothing is off the table yet. But if it does, I would be furious...as would almost everyone who is not a MAGA supporter. That would be acknowledgement that "no one is above the law" is just bullshit.

Trump is guilty...and I hope he pays a very large price for what he has done.
