@oralloy,
Costco isn't spreading a lie.

You and your dishonest crook of an ex-president are though.

@TheCobbler,
Progressives spread all sorts of lies. If that is justification for running someone out of business, then we have justification for running all progressives out of business.

I suggest that the left might want to consider embracing Free Speech a bit. But if they insist on playing this game, I'm sure the Republicans can beat them at it.

@oralloy,
They didn't take down Trump's, "I did not have sex with and pay hush money to a porn star" post...

But it turned out he did.

"I did not collude with Russia..."

Welcome to Trump University where, the earth is still flat and being literate is not required.

@oralloy,
Could you please list some of these progressive lies?

I am curious if they rise to the level of calling terrorists, tourists.

@TheCobbler,
How about Barack Obama's "If you like your existing insurance plan you can keep it."

And then his follow up lie to try to justify the first lie "I'm only forcing people off from substandard insurance plans."

@oralloy,
What a terrible lie! (cynical)

You mean people could not keep their worthless old insurance plans that denied coverage because of preexisting conditions?

If you like having way overpriced worthless insurance you can keep it?

If you like paying for insurance and being shafted when you go to use it then you can keep it?

The problem with most insurance is it was not worth the paper it was printed on and insurers had to actually bring the old policies up to the higher standards of Obamacare.

Like Trump's fake university? Fake charity... Fake reality TV...

Obama was not going to allow people to be suckered into "fake insurance". If their old insurance was fake, Obamacare made that evident.

Republicans were getting rich off of killing people who became ill on the job.

And they are still mad that they cannot get away with robbing people in vulnerable health related crisis.

Taking something worthless away from people is not the same as offering them something of value for an affordable fee.

Their insurance was worthless. So was it really insurance?

You can keep your old insurance if it is "actually" insurance. That was the truth not a lie, not even close.

You seem to think a worthless document is actually, "insurance". Because you are unintelligent.

They were worse than substandard, they were worthless.

They were not worth less, they were worth nothing...

As they say nothing from nothing leaves nothing.

The republican get rich quick scam in a nutshell.

It is not like any harm is being done by Mr. Trump's claims that he won the election.

No. That was one of the progressive lies. Mr. Obama forced people off from high quality insurance plans and then lied and said they were low quality plans.

TheCobbler wrote:

That is a progressive lie. The insurance plans were better than Obamacare.

That's another progressive lie. Mr. Obama forced people off from their insurance plans.

That's another progressive lie. My IQ is 170.

More progressive lies. The insurance plans were far better than Obamacare.

So now we have justification for Mr. Trump banning all progressives from the internet as soon as he wins the 2024 election.

Yes, a lie is still a lie. Liars suck.

@neptuneblue,
It depends.

I do value the truth. That's why I personally never lie. (Note that occasional rare errors, being unintentional, are not lies.)

But most lies are actually not the end of the world. It's not like a war crime has been committed or something.

@oralloy,
Condoning a lie is just as bad.

Trump did not win the 2020 election. He lost and he lies about it. That is not a virtue worthy of any one's respect or vote.

No, the insurance plans were not better, that is a stuffy republican crook lie!

How can an "intelligent" person say the plans were better when the insurance company could claim your illness was a preexisting condition?

Is a fuzzy insurance policy better than one protected by federal law?

Is an insurance policy better when you could opt out of certain protections say, if you were young?

And then when you would get one of those illnesses who would pay for you? The socialists?

I thought socialist medicine was evil? But here you are expecting society to pick up the bill for grandfathered plans which lowered premiums by leaving people with fake insurance.

Like paying the insurance company a lot for absolutely nothing and when you get sick social medicine, not the insurance company, pays for you.

There is nothing like selling someone worthless insurance and being against the only lifeline left when they get sick, "the socialized medical safety net".

So republicans sell fake insurance and attack socialized medicine. This is a republicans get rich and a consumer lose, lose scenario. Like Trump University. Like a fake president who plays golf 1/3 of his presidency and plots against our citizens (and Costco) the other 2/3rds.

Like Trump "won"... is just a devious little harmless lie, right? Like fake insurance, no one is hurt by fake insurance... (cynical)

And when you lose your life savings and your life because your insurance company refuses to pay, no one gets hurt. (cynical)

You are really stupid, dumber than a rock.

Nope. The only liars here are the progressives. The insurance plans were far better than anything that was ever offered under Obamacare.

Nice attempt at a dodge, but insurance plans couldn't do that anymore. Obamacare forbade it.

You're lying again. My IQ is 170.

Some people think that Mr. Trump lies. But if he does, it's clear that you lie even more than he does.

So when do we start the war crimes tribunals so we can prosecute progressives for all their lies about health insurance?

Deflection may be your style but it's not mine.

Trump lied about winning the 2020 election.

And you're ok with that lie.

What's your explanation for condoning that lie?

Pointing out the hypocrisy and unreasonableness of your position is hardly deflection.

It is rather a direct attack against your position.

If it is in fact a lie, the justification would be that it is no big deal. It is pretty ridiculous to make such a big deal over it.

Mr. Trump may well not even be lying though. I can think of two scenarios (both plausible) where he is not lying.

Scenario #1: What Mr. Trump is saying is true. The Democrats did cheat, and the reason why there is no evidence of this cheating is because the Democrats successfully eliminated all of the witnesses.

Scenario #2: What Mr. Trump is saying is not true, but he honestly believes it. Being mistaken is not lying. People are allowed to be wrong.

So, if he's not lying, then he's not lying. And if he is lying, then so what and who cares.

@oralloy,
So, you're siding with a known liar. No amount of hemming and hawing will justify the lack of integrity, honor or moral high ground.

Trump lost. It isn't a lie. You justifying any amount of condoning that lie makes you complicit and worthy of the very same scorn that Trump gets.

You are now known as a liar.
