@Frank Apisa,
A stipend of $1000? Now I know why Newsweek went belly up years ago. You know what Joe Meacham said when someone asked him why most Americans boggled at the suggestion of reading Newsweek? To which he replied " I don't know." Now I know why. It would have been a better magazine if its top-tier editors had published more insightful pieces crafted by brainy sorts instead of slimy sods like you.

@Frank Apisa,
Both are correct. Newsweek's copy editors should have told you. LOL

Both are not correct. One is accepted because morons are unable to keep up.

But complete the sentence...and see how it sounds.

I'd sooner take recommendations on books to read from Trump than you. And I wouldn't take them from him.

If you are going to try that amateur extension ****...at least get it right. You should have written, "Pleeeeeese" or "Pulllleeeese." Only a moron would extend a silent letter.

@Frank Apisa,
Nope . You are mistaken about this. You know Paul Martin? He used to be a copy editor at the Wall Street Journal. You could pick his brains.

You seem to be a combustible person. Well, I forgive you since you are old enough to be my uncle. Off you go.

From Roy H. Copperud.

"Than is now standard as a preposition, in addition to being a conjunction; consequently, such sentences as `He is taller than me' are correct. So is than I."

I am not mistaken.

You are much older than I am...

...or...You are much older than me am.

Take your choice, chump.

But, like I said, it is now acceptable because people like you cannot keep up.

Finish the sentence, Goldy.

"Me" is not correct...even if some people want to pretend it is.

If you want to say, "He is taller than me am" fine with me. In fact, it would corroborate my impression of your intelligence.

By soaking the rich? By borrowing more money from China? Do you know that America is saddled with debt? They are decidedly oafish.

He actually found an article?

Anti-capitalists? Like republicans giving tax breaks to the ultra rich?

Is that capitalism?

Stealing from the poor and giving it to the ultra rich is more like piracy...

We are saddled with a 2 trillion dollar handout the republicans gave to billionaires... But not a word about that from you.

And when democrats attempt to level the playing field, fix our economy, and stop a pandemic that is called, "socialism"?

Soaking the rich? How about the rich start paying taxes first then we can talk about socialism?

Trump's tax returns revealed he paid nearly zero in taxes.

Is that how your capitalism works?

Your logic is corrupted by partisan, republican mumbo jumbo.

Like, how giving guns to crazies somehow strengthens the 2nd amendment. On the contrary, it weakens the second amendment such that law abiding gun owners have to worry about their own 2nd amendment rights.

But as long as the republicans get their blood money from pedaling weapons to Nazi crazies, all is fine with them.

As for your other issues, you have no valid points merely revealing that you are a racist. The pot calling the kettle black.

You want to talk violence? How about the capital riots and armed racist thugs attempting to kidnap a governor?

You are disingenuous, your points are taken out of context and blown way out of proportion all to appease your diseased, Fox News ridden mind.

@Frank Apisa,
JTT would have said it was the difference between prescriptive and descriptive grammar.

JTT was no fool but they would switch from advocating one to the other depending on who they were talking to.

Like I said they’d front it out, not quote someone who sounds too much like L Ron Hubbard.

@TheCobbler,
Invade Monaco, the Cayman Islands and Lichtenstein and tax the **** out of the account holders.

We’re guilty too, the Isle Of Mann and the Channel Islands take the piss something rotten.

Government debt is traded, it’s a commodity like cash, can always be refinanced no bother at all. It’s nothing like personal debt, but that doesn’t stop the far right deliberately confusing the two.

@izzythepush,
Quick catch while I could edit.

That’s irony for you. Mr Hubbard’s name temporarily escaped me after looking at something similar. We’re watching a wildlife show about inter species animal friends and there was a scene with a dog grooming a donkey. At that moment I shouted out That’s L Ron Hubbard.

Oh how we laughed.

Then I go and post L Ton Hubbard.
