This might make you smile, I once said he thought monkeys controlled the Panama Canal.

He replied by calling me a liar.

Why would he feel the need to do that when it’s clearly a load of bollocks I just made up? Does he think people might actually believe that about him? Is he that paranoid?

For the record I do try to be truthful most of the time unless I’m mucking about and then I’ll say something that’s clearly a load of bollocks.

That is the appropriate response in situations when someone falsely accuses me of their own shortcomings. And you do that a lot.
