@bobsal u1553115,
Who said I accepted your source? I actually posted a more complete and honest graph on govt spending than you did. Plus it was also a fact check site to boot.

The Washington Post's Greg Sargent wrote that "Republicans [are shooting] themselves in [the] foot with Latinos, again" after the Republican National Committee (RNC) suspended its debate partnership with its only scheduled Spanish-language network. The debate, originally scheduled to be hosted by NBC and NBC-owned Telemundo, was canceled by the RNC following the fallout from the CNBC debate.

In the aftermath of the October 28 CNBC Republican presidential primary debate, conservatives reacted with outrage, and charged that the network demonstrated liberal media bias. The RNC responded by suspending NBC and Telemundo's future presidential debate, a move that political journalists criticized as a "harsh" response to "crisis mode," pointing out that the cancelled debate was the GOP's only scheduled debate that would have aired on a Spanish-language TV network.

Sargent's November 2 article titled "Republicans shoot themselves in foot with Latinos, again," noted that the Democratic National Committee is now in talks with Telemundo to possibly host a candidate forum. Accordingly "one consequence of this decision could be that Republicans end up holding no debate aired on a Spanish-language network," while Democrats may "be able to argue that they are far more interested in communicating with Latino voters than Republicans." Sargent also noted that "All this comes after GOP establishment types went into full-scale panic earlier this fall over the damage Trump -- with his call for mass deportations and suggestion that Mexican immigrants are rapists -- may already be doing to the GOP brand among Latinos":

This argument sounds bizarre, it is not like hispanics dont have access to debates that are not on Spanish language tv stations. And wasn't this placed on the schedule so that the then presumptive nominee Bush could show off that he speaks spanish, which apparently no longer matters since he is running such a poor campaign and America clearly does not want him. Plus the GOP elite have run the numbers and they have decided that they dont need anymore hispanics than they usually get. If it becomes clear the Trump is going to be then guy then maybe it makes sense to jump through some hoops to pander to the hispanics, but otherwise what is supposed to be the point now?

The best idea I've heard so far is to get Hannity, Limbaugh and like Mark Levine, or Boortz or someone to have them debate the things that Republican voters care about.

I do not give two shits about what liberals care about in regards to these debates. They aren't going to be voting for them even if hell froze over so why pander to them?

We need to get the candidates to talk about their conservative values and what they are going to do if/when they become President. Stop this infighting and lets hear what the candidates plan to do. It should be a job interview, not an Access Hollywood hit piece.

Gee, kinda makes you wonder why the RNC did not plan from the start to have half the debates done by conservative press elite doesn't it....

Palin has almost a 100% record on being wrong, but "lamestream media" is perfect.

@McGentrix,
That's a great idea McG. Get the GOP candidates on record with their loony conservative ideas supported by 20% of the US population. It will do wonders for them in the general election.

Here is a case of media bias for ya

this is the headline of the story on IBT, a very major outlet:

Quote:
Ben Carson Says Many Americans Are 'Stupid'

and this is what he said

Quote:
They can twist and turn things as much as they want. But what they don't understand—and they miscalculated. They were doing a great job in terms of fundamentally changing this nation. In terms of infiltrating the school systems. In terms of infiltrating the media. All of this—they've done a great job. Everything was perfect. Except they underestimated the intelligence of the American people. The people are not as stupid as they think they are. Many of them are stupid. Okay. But I'm talking about overall.

What, we were not supposed to notice? I am really getting offended with how dumb the american people are taken for. I am not that dumb, though at this point I am pissed off. See my sig line for illustration.

@hawkeye10,
Many Americans ARE stupid. So are many people from every country. That's why it's called a bell curve.

Hell, more then half the people on this forum are below average intelligence.

It's sooooo funny when some putz tries to make a disparaging comment about others' intellects with a mispelling in the insult.

Of course, but you know as well as I do that the "news service" completely distorted what the man said, and that unless the article was written by a middle school paper (it was not) it had to been done in the pursuit of spreading politically motivated lies.

What is not shocking is your failure to comprehend. I made no comments about intellect, I made disparaging comments about others morality.

So happy that I could clear that up for you. Come around for tutoring any time snood.

There's nothing wrong with Snood's comprehension, it's your expression that's at issue. Blaming others for your own shortfalls and refusing to accept the truth is something most of us grow out of by the time we finish adolescence. Your neoteny becomes more obvious with every post.

@Baldimo,
The way Megyn Kelly took down Cruz the other night, I don't think the Republicans will want to use Fox either.

I think Megyn Kelly is moderating her rightward lean.
