@coldjoint,
We all know that Fox News is the rumor mill. The Wall Street Journal, which is also owned by Murdoch, was a respectable publication back to the 80s and 90s. Then it had several cerebral reporters and editors like Jane Mayer, John Helyar, Bryan Burrough, James B Stewart, Tim Smith, Jane Berentson, and Steve Swartz, who was a sounding board for the Journal's young reporters.
That's not the case now; the Journal has morphed into a tool by which Murdoch and acerbic conservative columnists use to carpet liberals and fob readers off with excuses when liberal publications impugn Trump's motives and lambaste his decision to connive with Putin to rig American elections.
Refusing to countenance the Journal's Managing Editor Robert Thomson's call to gloze over Trump's misconduct, some outstanding journalists at the Journal, say, Rebecca Blumenstein and Bret Stephens, left in a huff , opting to join the New York Times instead. John Harwood, who has been another critic of Trump, used to work for the Journal as well. He works for CNN right now.
Trump, who's abrasive and barmy, doesn't even realize what he has done to America. He is actually helping doubters of democracy subvert democracy and corrode the rule of law with his refusal to play by the rules. And it's decidedly funny for Trump's supporters to take a poke at Joe Biden for having "harassed" a girl "claiming" to be a victim. Joe Biden reportedly denied such allegations. Why don't they ask Trump and people like Kavanaugh and O'Reilly how many girls they have molested so far? Oh, they would use the word consensual to explain away their depraved behavior, huh?
I recall Kavanaugh crying with curled lips when he is being interrogated. And the Oscar goes to the Republican Party(applause)
