There are many languages in the world. Doctors have one, lawyers have one, intellectuals have one, common people have one. Seeing that the only guaranteed message in the bible comes from the Holy Spirit. So to guard that guarantee He even uses a special language. And the Holy Spirit only quotes verses, He explains verses with other verses. There are spirits in us trying to deceive us and they all speak the same language carnal. So we can discern the Holy Spirit He quotes verses. Now this is the meat understanding of the Word. The milk understanding is done with the carnal language, the meat understanding is done with only verses. Its an unknown tongue to the carnal mind.

I'm reminded of Katherine Kuhlman, a so-called "faith healer" a few decades ago who would urge medical patients who attended her rallies to give up their medication and throw it upon the stage where she did her routine. She would tell those people they had been healed. Of course, when they stopped taking their medication, they died. In effect, Kuhlman persuaded them to commit suicide. She had blood on her hands.

Then there are parents of very sick children who test God by withholding lifesaving medication from them, all the while expecting God to heal them miraculously. Never mind that God expects these parents to take advantage of the blessings provided by medical science. No, instead of doing that, they test God and deny their children a chance to live.

There often are consequences for believing in such erroneous views, which are not supported by scripture.

Or there is no god at all to do any saving.

Think about it. If you had the power to alter things how could you honestly sit there and watch innocent children starve to death? You wouldn't budge at all? Seriously? If god is suppose to be the ultimate level of perfect love how can you be that and watch people suffer? It doesn't make any sense if you had the power to alter the way things work so people don't have to suffer unnecessarily.

Same for cancer. Do we really need cancer to exist? It is one of the worse ways to die. It is slow, your body wastes away slowly. There is a lot of pain involved and your misery is prolonged. Seriously a god couldn't have come up with a less brutal way? Even if the people who develop cancer "deserve" it for some reason, how can you honestly think it is justifiable?

The fact that cancer exists proves that god can not be all compassionate or all loving. They cancel each other. And if cancer is a form of some kind of punishment it even further dismisses the claim that god is all loving.

It's like a mad scientist who claims he loves his subjects yet exposes them to dangers and tortures them and those who misbehave he injects them with a pain serum. No you don't love your subjects if you do nothing to prevent their suffering if you have the power to change or prevent that suffering.

So now you're saying God wrote the Bible, translated it into English, and set up the website where you cut and pasted your quotation.

Did you abuse a lot of substances in your youth, sniff a lot of glue, inhale significant amounts of butane? That would explain why so much of your brain is missing.
