During the funeral procession. Totally classless. Disgusting. Disrespectful.
Such taunting is disgraceful. But it's a free society, to an extent. What are ya gonna do?

Absolutely. That's Washington for you.
I didn't care for Reagan's politics (to put it mildly), but today isn't the day to disparage the man.
For every handful of assholes...
The Reagan Parkway came to a standstill. I thought they had been stopped for security reasons. Thousands stopped their cars and got out to pay their respects. People stood 15 deep for miles. I don't think we'll see this again.
Those jerks didn't get any TV press that I saw. I switched between several channels.
Sofia
Sofia, I think we've seen it at least twice before Reagan in recent history. Have you forgotten O. J. Simpson and Michael Jackson. That's what some people do.

Another good example of myth making was the excesses when Princess Diana died.
BBB
There is no comparison. One full week on non-stop coverage, and the numbers of those in the streets, and waiting for hours to pay a few minutes respect has not been matched.
Saying it isn't so doesn't make it true. The CNN anchors were incredulous.
It was a bit of American history. Sort of odd that someone would try to downplay it.
There are always those few.
I share many of the protestors' thoughts about Reagan, but would never publicly taunt like that. It's crass and rude and counterproductive to the cause.
