my classmate wrote such a sentence:
Buildings could be seen as a sort of carrier of aesthetic ideology .....
do you think "aesthetic ideology" is adequate here,i do not know the exact meaning of this phase.

Sure, that makes sense. ideology means a system of ideas and aesthetic means relating to beauty.

Really, everything that is at least partially art (painting, sculpture, theatre, movies, music, architecture, etc) is a potential carrier for the ideas that we have about what is beautiful.

Might aesthetic ideology refer to a society's architecture reflecting the society's culture?

I appreciate the art of your writing, which in a way reflects the aesthetic ideology of the western culture.
