I am looking out my office window and can see 7 driveways from here--there is a Japanese made car parked in six of them.

I am also pondering the trade deficit and the fact that the U.S. has one lawyer for every 300 or so Americans while Japan has one lawyer for every six or seven thousand Japanese.

Therefore, as a benevolent dictator who believes in free trade, I decree that we will continue to import Japanese cars but order Japan to take one of our lawyers for every car imported. Pretty soon they'll be as screwed up as we are and that should take care of the trade problem.

Re product liability, manufacturers will be required to list any known hazards associated with their product. Otherwise they are to attach instructions for the proper use of the products and indicate any other use of that product may be dangerous and users will use it for any other use at their own risk.

Then as McG suggested, if somebody gets silly and tries to use a product for other than advertised and is injured, they'll deal with it. Ditto for people who trip over speed bumps or fall down the escalator or get tangled up in their own shoe laces at Macys. Unless there was no way for the customer to discern that a hazard existed, the customer will be due no compensation for any injury.

This, along with product liability reform and malpractice reform should free up enough billions to pay nurses and school teachers a lot of extra money.

Does it have to be recommendations for "the country", or can we comment on others?

Tax reform should rein in congress and the White House. It is a fact that the more they have the spend the more they will spend. Limit the amount they spend and limit the kinds of things they can legally spend it on, and again the nurses and school teachers will make out like bandits.

There are actually a few other things I mentioned that exist in the Netherlands.

The Netherlands has a much better political system than the US.

But don't take what I said above too seriously, almost all were flippant and many were outright parodies that I'd not dream of.

I just had surgery in my side... I have stitches every where and
G*D DAM**T Cav... you made me laugh so hard I think I blew them all!
Laughing Mad Laughing Mad Laughing Laughing Mad
THAT is coming out of your campaign funding.. PERIOD end of story. You will paaaayyyyy!!! hahaha

My idea for changing teacher / student ratio is mo-better thought out then I explained! hehe

Better teachers = better students
better students = higher expectations of learning in primary schools
advanced learning = less uneducated population.
higher education = better companies
better companies = more jobs.

etc etc etc etc...

I think if you want to change the top. You have to create a stable bottom. America's bottom is the low expectations of its students and higher expectations of its college students. I think that is a little backwards. You cant complete college successfully if you learned SQUAT in public schools....

Amen Shewolf. And toward that end my dictate will be:

1. Students who choose to drop out of school will
be obliged to join the workforce in a job of
the parent's choice. Until the child is of age,
the parents will be required to make sure
he/she is either in school or at work and
otherwise at home or under supervision of a
responsible adult.

2. Persons become eligible for a drivers license
upon receipt of an honorably acquired high-
school diploma.

3. Any school that issues a diploma to a student
who does not have a reasonable ability to
read and write, who does not have a working
ability to do at least simple math, and who
does not have a reasonable grasp of history,
government, geography, economics, and
philosophy will be closed.

I have many problems. I can list them alphabetically or numerically...
take your pick Confused Laughing

I think when it comes to high school drop outs , they would have a VERY limited work force placement. McDonalds...sure...McDonalds manager? Nah. 7+ bucks an hour is too much. Yeah, im evil so what! Hehe. But come on.. high school is free for christs sake. WHY drop that? >ahem<
I shouldnt talk. I too once dropped out of high school. Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed But now have my masters in medicine. Still.... I dont have alot of room to talk.

I think my second week in office , I would cement this claim to seperation of church and state. Religious laws...or OPENLY religious based laws ( have to change my verbage here ) would be swiped from the board. I DO mean abortion laws...Like crav said.. free birth control and NO church organization is going to get thier grubby hands on that law. Ill chop 'em off!!! So Catholics beware... and be glad IM NOT in office...

I think I will make that bullet proof glass bubble for me to live in now Shocked Shocked Shocked
