If you are monolingual, it means that u dont have the competitive capacity compared with others&other in this field .

Assuming that the others have more than one language, then others.


Competetive capacity doesn't sound right.

A bit of context would be helpful.

If monolingual you might lack the competitive capacity (ability, facility, aptitude, faculty, savvy, etc) of others in this field
