Hi John, we have met in passing through Seachange and at Jeff Nutall's Memorial in London. As a matter of coincidence I am friendly with one of your old schoolfriends, Ronald Barratt, so I decided to download some of your music as I don't know much about your work, other than you put together a book of selected poetry in Great Yarmouth called Behind The Front, so I thought I would pop in and say Hello and check out your site.

Hi, my name's Emily and I saw Johnny last year at poetry live with school to help us with our gcse's, I found myself daydreaming for most of the day but when Johnny came on I started paying attention. Trying not to sound like a hysterical teenage groupie here but he was the coolest poet there and I've since become an ebay fanatic trying to find 'Ten years in an open necked shirt', anyone know his email adress? (I managed to get an A* by the way.) You're the reason I started listening to punk Johnny! xxx

I saw JCC at the Bierkeller at Leeds back in 1983 I think it was and remember he played guitar on stage, i have the photo's to prove it !!!!.
Would love to see the man again.

hello john i was th eone singing u elvis american trilogy at the glasgow ot 05 show, u have been saying to me that a new lp is coming out for the last 4 years its 23 since the last one! so is it coming out on skinny dog records in manchester? heres hoping u change theset a bit as its got much the same material for the last ten years i should know i go to all your gigs and record/film them.
u r a genius but you should stick to the poems more.
