I'm too young to know much about her but she was on TV here in the UK over the Bank Holiday weekend in a cool film Hello Dolly. I thought she was very good in it..loud voice. I loved the scene where all the waiters did a really cool dance number with her and on their own.

Wow, that's an incredibly strong reaction, WG. How long have you felt this, out of interest? You do know that hate is just another means of publicity, sometimes, don't you?

I'm with drom. That's putting out alot of negative energy about someone who really doesn't matter in your life one way or another.

After long and thoughtful consideration I've decided I'd do her if I was really drunk and Roseanne Barr was unavailable.....

Hmm. Let me start off by saying I am no fan of her type of singing and no fan of performer egos, though I think you need to concoct an ego at least for a time to perform. I noticed she had a good voice, not one of particular interest to me. Easy for me to say, I can't carry a tune. But, she was a roommate for a while of a friend in my lab days, another tech who later became an immunology doc; they were roommates back when they both were younger. I doubt they were roommates for long. My friend's only gripe, as I remember, was that she was messy. Well, I can understand that, I am inclined to be messy.

She's just a human, I don't get all the hate stuff.
