Why I'm not gloating...

More like a bit of a sigh of relief than like gloating. I mean, I'll start gloating on the day I can feel that the entire US political system is basically in good shape, and we're very far from that.

A country like Italy with a dozen political parties can afford to have one or two of them go rogue; a country with just two parties cannot afford having one of them go rogue since that will force the other party into unnatural positions just to compensate and compete.

Greentards, libtards, Gaea-worshipers, Malthusians, socialists and weirdos of sundry other stripes may have just taught an entire generation of Americans to hate and fear the democrat party but that isn't really a healthy solution to anything.

@gungasnake,
Hmmmm Gunga... your not gloating sounds an awful lot like gloating.

But I love irony (and besides, you deserve a little gloat).

Shall I join you?
