Girl i love just broke up with boyfriend

I have liked this girl for 2 years am in love with her. I cant stop thining about her every second of every day. We have been good friends for about 4 months now we talk every day hang out with eachother and are very close. She was on and off with her boyfriend for nearly a year and has ended it now for good because he treated her like **** which always made her upset. I dont know if she has the same feelings for me and i dont want to ruin my chance by telling her too soon after her break up, when is the ideal time?

There is no ideal time, John...and actually, you do not have to "tell her."

Just be a good friend for now...she probably needs one. Break up's tend to be emotional times...and a good friend is a great thing to have during one.

You may get hurt...because the feelings you have may not be reciprocated. And even though the break up is portrayed as permanent...often there is a repair.

Just be a friend for now.

When the time comes for the relationship to become something more (if it ever does)...you will almost certainly know it. But don't push it, because that is more likely to hurt your chances than help them.

That sounds like u have been OBSESSED.

I was obsessed with a chick for years, decades, and centuries.
In the end, nothing came of it; waste of my time in thought. <sigh>

you need to step back from your avowals of love

ask her to go to a movie or something normal like that - do this as friends, not as potential boyfriend/girlfriend

if she has been in a serious, committed relationship, it will take her time to move on
