@izzythepush,
Chuck E. Cheese is a large fast food chain of storefronts in USA/NA that is highly oriented towards kids. Think a smaller McD's or Burger King chain. they have pizza, other foods plus all kinds of arcade and animatronic machines to keep the little tykes stealing money from their parents.

@izzythepush,
Hey, I'm psyched about seeing such eatery choices. I'll be traveling to EU for the first time in my life (age 65).

Though, I've seen none of those varieties of cheese state-side, I actually have a retail specialty place across the street that has an excellent cheese shop. I knew this when I moved here.

@Ragman,
Not been to that place in particular, I tend to frequent the cheese stalls at Wimborne Market which are a bit like that.

They do a great stinking bishop.

Will you be heading to the UK at all?

@izzythepush,
My trip this time with my significant other in Sept-Oct will be to parts of France and northern coastal Italy and Switzerland. At some point in the next year it might be a different trip to include UK. Dec Jan will be south Africa..and perhaps NZ in January. It's uncertain...and may be determined by my health.

I'm laughing because it seems to be about going where there's friendly people, good food and beverages...tasty food, good wine, chocolate and beer. (Though they've got great beer and chocolate, Belgium isn't included at this time).

@Ragman,
There's a lot to see, there's a lot I haven't seen. Two months isn't long enough just for France. You could spent two months in Paris and still not see everything.

Make sure you have a good time.

@izzythepush,
While recognizing I'm taking away from the important focus of this life-affirming thread....

There is a limited timeframe and scope with which we're working. However, I'm dying to see and eat in Lyons and see Monet's Gardens at Giverny. We've got some other trips planned for later on in the year in beginning of next year (African safari in Kruger National Park...and then NZ, where my sig other lived for 16 yrs).
