I'm gonna lay here for 24 hours to see how many step over me vs walks around me.

Can't someone who uses microsoft help cicerone imposter and roger and others learn to post a cartoon with caption?

My ridiculous old mac is not a clue,

but I will say, all have to do is click on Control in the face of the cartoon and go from there.

My IPad doesn't have that ability.

I just press quote on the previous cartoon post and then delete everything in that quote box that comes before the [Img] and everything after the [/img]

You are then left with simply the cartoon code.

I then stick my caption underneath and post it by pressing the reply button.

I keep seeing people say that - but I have never seen a 'quote' button and I use IE, Firefox and Chrome on Windows 7, 8 and 10 and Safari and Chrome on an ipad AND Chrome and the Samsung browser on android.

I always have to copy the image address (method differs wildly depending on OE) and paste it between the img tags the BBCode editor generates.

CI - if you are using Safari on an ipad touch the image and leave your finger there until it pops up with options

Copy

touch Copy (copies the image address to clipboard)

In A2K reply all
in the BBCode editor press Img

Between the image tags Paste (pastes the image address from clipboard)

Can be a pita getting the cursor between the image tags. I have a logitech keyboard on my ipad which has arrow keys and the cmd key which makes it easier.

Which box do you tick or press to quote somebody?

The quote button is in "my preferences" on A2K. It is turned off by default.

Click "my preferences" on the bottom of the page to find it and turn it on.

I just copy and paste between the BBCode quote tags.

Born hacker (not in the smart sense, in the 'hold the word together with bandaids' sense)
