Ultimatum means a final statement. Is this your last word on this matter?

Matter of fact, it isn't! And I laugh that "snappy" arouses such contempt!

Contempt is an intense feeling of disrespect and dislike. It is similar to hate, but implies feelings of superiority, I don't think it has the same implication here. Smile

here , using the word "snappy" certainly does not give the writer an air of superiority .
indeed , the writer shows an abysmal knowledge of the queen's english .

English hearts are broken, but Irish eyes are smilin', after the result of the rugby match played in Dublin today. It was an emphatic, resounding win for the home team.

"Themselves" is a very difficult word to begin a sentence with. Are you an uncooperative person generally or is this just an isolated example of how your emotions got the better of you.

Blue skies are no good. What is needed is heavy cloud and rain pouring down to increase the fecundity of nature.

Nature is generally distinguished from the supernatural. It ranges in scale from the subatomic to the galactic

Galactic can also mean relating to or obtained from milk. This would noticeably decrease the range of your scale.

Scale(s) with special uses are often named after the person who invented them. The Richter magnitude scale is a mathematical device to compare the size of earthquakes.
