Child psychology- get some sympathy, than go for the jugular. It's an old trick, but by God, it might just work!

Work and play is what young people do today. They travel the world and work at various places whilst enjoying themselves no end.

End games are what it's all about. The prelims are somewhat tiresome and can often be quite expensive.

Iberico is a hard, oily cheese made from blended cow's, goat's and sheep's milk. It is mild, yet tasty, aromatic and very popular.

Popular girls get to be a bit of a nuisance. They get a bit picky and choosy and it stays with them all their life.

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it, this is a kind of death.

End of the line is reached when a factory closes its gates for good. It usualy means a lot of people being thrown on the unemployment scrapheap.

'Scrapheap' sounds like such a final state of uselessness. Yet when you think about it it is just a consolidation of resources which can be sorted and put to good use for other purposes.

Purposes are the objects toward which we strive or for which something exists, eg. aims or goals. We often hear it said, he is a man of determination.

Determination is a dangerous characteristic. I always abandon myself to the cheapest temptations.

Temptations can be both alluring and wicked. How many men can resist the temptations of a siren?

"Siren" has two meanings. It can mean dangerously fascinating temptresses with alluringly sweet wailing voices or a mechanical device through which compressed air is forced to produce a loud, annoying sound to warn of approaching bad news.

Time after time, I tell myself that I'm/So lucky to be loved by you. With a whoop and a holler and a dime and a dollar, I'm a lucky son of a gun.

Gun crews in Nelson's day used to have to be very careful where they stood when they lit the blue touchpaper. The two ton cannon had a kick the path of which was not always predictable and the ambulence service wasn't usually on hand to deal with the consequences.

Consequences of Global Warming. Unless we act now, our children will inherit a hotter world, dirtier air and water, more severe floods and droughts, and more wildfires.

Wildfires can be started by carelessly semi-extinguished cigarettes and pipes. Which brings me to the interesting fact that Queen Elizabeth was today given a peace pipe by the chief of the Mohicans, who rejoices in the name of Bruce Two-Dogs Bozsum.

Bruce Two-Dogs Boszum, who met her madge today, would be of interest to James Fenimore Cooper who thought he had identified the last of the Mohicans ages ago. These guys have had a hard time of it, by all accounts, including suffering the indignity of being buried in the wrong place.
