Succeed in academic terms, I suppose, but that is often linked to other successes too. Maybe it has to do with the involvement of families - parents in particular - and their encouragement, as much as the actual training.

Training for a marathon seems to be far too grueling. Me, I prefer to have the exercise be more easy going and free spirited.

Spirited conversation is something I love, but can't always get. I adore the sparkle of wit.

Wit is a difficult startoff word, lest one appear to suffer from its absence. Or am I being too sensitive?

Sensitive you are, McTag. Hope it doesn't last long.

Long time no see, on any of the threads I frequent, Francis. And I'm coming to Paris in two days' time, maybe I will catch a glimpse of your cheerful face.

Face powder is something I never understood. Soap and water is fine for getting the shine off skin, if that is the aim.

Aim to be noticed, even if you have a shiny face. People may remember you for the shine, but not if you dazzle them with some other aspect of your image.

Resist it can be very difficult, especially on this game. One have to make two distinct sentences.

Sentences you to a life of sitting hunched over a computer, this A2K. It beats exercise though.

Though not by much.

Gold, apparently, is more abundant in Indian households than in any other nationality's. There is an enormous amount of wealth tied up in India, static.

Static caravans are far less troublsome than mobile ones. Pembrokeshire is full of tourers in the summer.

Summer has hit us early in Oz. The grass needs mowing every weekend.

Weekends spent on Bondi beach is what I'd like. I'm planning to spend some time in Oz this Jan. How long does the summer last?

December, January, February are the official summer months, but quite often it starts in September/October and lasts well into March.

Bondi is mainly for English and Japanese tourists
and Kiwi expatriates. Be different. There are so many better beaches!

Beaches all over, I've been told. I'm just going to Bondi to say I've been. I know it's quite touristy. I'm going to be in the country for about six months, so I'm hoping to make it to many good beaches. I'm planning on spending three months working in Sydney, then about three months visiting friends and travelling around. I'm thinking of going on the Great Ocean Road to get to Adelaide. And maybe making a weekend trip to Noosa Heads. Any recs? What area do you live in?

In the city/town of Rutland I have resided for the most part, for the majority of my life, although I was born in New York City. Perhaps that has something to do with my lifelong love of the Yankees baseball team even during their slumps.
