Raked my fingers through my new shorter hairstyle, said to be all I need to keep it in place. Thought it would be more practical and cooler for India.

India ink was a major source of trouble for me when I was growing up. On more than one occasion I snuck into the cupboard where it was kept and ended up spilling it making mother was quite angry.

Angry is probably too strong a word for most mothers' emotions on these occasions. Irritated, fed up, but no deep-seated emotion really, I believe - of course it depends on the mother.

Mother of pearl jewelry is absolutely stunning. Something about its natural luster is nearly spellbinding.

Spellbinding is what the eccentric shopkeeper does in the magic shop in the Harry Potter film. After you've purchased your eye of newt and tongue of frog, divers roots and tail of dog, she wraps them up in a cloth and secures the package with hairy twine.

Twine ribbons into your Christmas tree for a delightful effect - this is the sort of thing you start hearing at this time of year. Well, I suppose it's to compensate for the nights drawing in.

Nights are drawing in, which was traditionally time when women used to pluck feathers, and separate feathers from the stems, make pillows and tell many many stories and fairytales to wide eyed children.

Children before TV - ahhhh! Where did they do the feather-plucking thing, eastern Europe I suppose? They weave carpets in Central Asia.

Asia has never been one of my desired travel destinations; though, I don't know why. Fortunately we live on a large planet and life being limited I can still travel for years without tire.

Tireless I am on the travel scene. I love to alternate very quiet cheap home life with stretches of foreignness and interest.

Interest is good if you have enough capital invested. Then you can travel all you want, and never need to worry about a thing.

Thing is, making sure you have the capital. Then you have to make sure it is invested in something other than a South Sea Bubble.

Bubble baths were something which I wanted when I was a child but being male it was frowned upon. Sadly I grew older and found the interest in them had made an exodus.

Exodus is a good story, but who could believe it to be literally true? Or is there a scientific explanation for the parting of the Red Sea?

Sea of Tranquility was my favorite grouping of words during the 1969 moon landing. I wonder whatever happened to the book I used to have about that event.

Event management is one of a crop of new jobs that weren't around when I was making career choices. Mind you, nor was lexicography.

Lexicography would be a fabulous thing for you to do, Clary!
If you don't mind I'd like to digress a bit about the Exodus: I like the idea of it being true, that there is a God so big that something like that is possible!

Possible glitch in the machine, because I posted one on lexicography and it vanished. Vanished without trace.

Trace and Eastern Macedonia is one of the 13 regions of Greece. By a law from 1986, each region is responsible for planning, programming and coordination of regional development.

Development of a learning skills is important and should be done as early as possible. During more than a quarter of a century of educating; I noticed students who had been trained early seemed most likely to succeed.
